There are two ways you can consider joining us, as a Baby-house volunteer, or as a Village volunteer.

Our international and local volunteers have played an important role in the success of caring for our children.
Local volunteers assist the permanent care givers with feeding the babies, playing with the babies and help with their daily exercise and stimulation activities.

This is a schedule-based program with a typical rotation of working 3 days on and 2 days off. You will be part of our everyday essential care for all our babies and children, including feeding, bathing, clothing, and loving on them. We have five departments roughly divided by age or need level. They are: 0-6 months, 6-14 months, 12-30 months, 30 months plus, and special needs departments.
Minimum age requirement:
20 years old
Prior experience in education, therapy, or relevant medical field is required. This role typically follows a Monday – Friday schedule and is focused on the stimulation and development of our children. If your studies require that you fulfil an internship component, then this might be the program for you. Please contact as to discuss options.
We are looking for local and international volunteers to assist us in building the Children’s Village.
Bring your church group, organisation or friends to spend a day in our Village: cleaning the gardens, landscaping, or making bricks and paving stones. Make it a day of fun while you picnic or braai.
We need teams to come and do construction-type work, and you don’t need to have experience or specialised skills, as long as you have the strength for some manual labour.
Minimum age requirement: 18 years old
This program focuses on the ongoing physical development of the village project. It involves being part of an onsite team that focuses on maintenance, building projects, making bricks, and helping to coordinate short-term work teams.
